Web27 dec. 2012 · Failing that, if you do have to replace the bolts, you're right; there isn't much clearance to get at the existing bolts with like a pair of pliers. You might be able to JB-Weld some hex keys onto the surfaces of the existing bolts in order to get them out. Since the rack isn't mounted on a car roof, the bolts shouldn't be torqued down tight. C.
